1、 Single layer board
A single-layer board, also known as a single panel, is a circuit board made of non-conductive substrate material, with circuit components only arranged on one side of the substrate. Circuit patterns are usually made through chemical etching processes. Single layer board production is simple and cost-effective, but the wiring is relatively simple and only suitable for simple circuits.
2、 Double layer board
Double layer board, also known as double-sided board, is a circuit board made on the basis of double-sided wiring, which requires hole penetration and metallization to connect the two layers of circuits. Compared to single-layer boards, double-layer boards have more complex wiring and can achieve more circuit functions.
3、 Multi-layer board
Multilayer board is a circuit board composed of multiple double-layer boards stacked according to certain rules, which can achieve more complex circuit layouts and higher integration. Multilayer boards can achieve the arrangement of multiple layers of circuits within the same board, thereby reducing the size and weight of the entire circuit board.
4、 Rigid circuit board
Rigid circuit boards are made of fiberglass cloth and other high-temperature resistant materials, and are most widely used in electronic devices. Rigid circuit boards are suitable for applications that require external force and fixed installation, such as computer motherboards and mobile phone boards.
5、 Flexible circuit board
Flexible circuit boards are made of polyimide and polyimide film materials, which are suitable for electronic devices that require bending, folding, or rolling due to their good flexibility and bendability, such as mobile phones. However, compared to rigid circuit boards, flexible circuit boards have higher costs and greater manufacturing difficulties.
